After spending 10+ plus years trading commodities as a member of the Chicago Board of Trade, I shifted gears moving to Houston Texas in 2011 to begin investing in real estate.
I was looking to leave behind the high stress environment of the trading world for passive cash flow and began investing in distressed property turning them into rentals.
It was not long after that, I was introduced to the concept of becoming a private hard money lender. I quickly realized that lending provided the passive cash flow and freedom I desired. From ther, the rest is history as I began focusing on growing my note portfolio to include short term purchase and rehab loans, owner financed notes, and the buying and selling of private mortgage notes.
Today, I still enjoy working with note sellers and buyers to help structure deals that help them meet their financial goals.
In my personal time, I love being a father and enjoy being an active supporter and participant in my four kids’ lives. I volunteered in a non profit organization for many years with the goal of building stronger bonds between fathers and their children through various outdoor activities and camping trips. Additionally, I continue to be an active coach of youth sports, and can often be found in a gym supporting my kids in their various sporting activities.
